WordPress
What Are Menus
The Menu screen enables users to create custom menus (also known as a navigation bar, navigation menu, or main menu). It is a section of the site which helps visitors to navigate around. Depending on the theme used, a site will typically have one navigation menu, while some themes may enable secondary or footer menus.
By default, WordPress adds all the published pages to the menu automatically. However, customization of the menu is possible, such as adding a link to a category or to an external site, changing the order of the menu links, or creating a sub-menu.
To view and manage menus, click on Appearance to access the menus section. This will list all of the navigation menus used on your website. The most common menus you will see here will be the top navigation and footers. You can have multiple menus if required. For example, you may want to have different navigation menus for Posts, sub-sections, or campaign pages that require separate pages from the main website.
